"Back in the day when I was young I'm not a kid anymore"

Salut!!

As the year comes to a close every one gets into a reflective mood, I for one being someone who tends to "reflect" sometimes a little too much is no exception.  Some of us look back and are happy to see what we achieved over the year, and vow to achieve even more the following year.  If you're like me although you are grateful for the years lessons and achievements, you find as the years fly by you become an oldie!!  Saying things like "In my day", I shudder when I catch myself saying it.  I find myself feeling nostalgic, and at times longing for my younger more care free times.  Maybe its watching the news and realising that it actually relates to me, and its important that I have a say playing Marvin Gaye's "What's going on" on repeat!
Or maybe it could be me getting braids in my hair makes me feel young again, reminds me of Brandy's 90's hit show "Moesha"

I grew up with this program, at the time fresh from the states on UK cable TV I would rush my chores so that I could be in time to watch it no Sky+ or TiVo.  That along with 'Saved By The Bell', 'Sister Sister' 'Fresh Prince", I could go on!

Waiscoat will be available on the upcoming WannaBuyVintage site :)

Looking at the 90's fashion, it was so much more laid back and a lot less provocative than what we see now.  The music videos and TV shows had a major influence over fashion then and even more so now, baggy pants, crops tops, dungarees with a mix match of colours expresses by stars like Will Smith

Wow! This is enough to make you put some shades on!

But all the same I love it <3  What do you miss about growing up?
